The Functions of Entrepreneurs

       All companies have entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are the ones who create new ideas. These ideas were implemented with the help of other social actors in the company. It is obvious that the role of an entrepreneur as an idea generator is very vital in the operation of a business. However, there are more that an entrepreneur can do. Below are the functions of an entrepreneur.
 1. Planner. Entrepreneurs are the ones who conceive an idea. Therefore, he is the one who plans to launch a project and innovate a product. 
2. Management. Entrepreneurs also manages their business. They function as the lead manager of their won business. However, they seek the help of professional managers in the other areas of business management. 
3. To Face Risks. Entrepreneurs are the risk-takers. They are the ones who have the courage to try something that were not already tested by anyone. They also face the risks that their businesses encounter. They are the ones who are responsible of that. 
4. Distribution of rewards. Entrepreneurs are the owners of their own businesses. They are the ones who gets their profits first. This means that they are the people in charge of distributing rewards to their employees and all of the cost of production. 
5. Sale of products. Entrepreneurs are also in charge of the marketing, advertising and selling of their products. In fact, sometimes, they are the ones who leads those activities. 
6. Scale of production. Entrepreneur are in charge of the product production of their companies. They study the number of products to be produced and how these products will be produced at a given period of time. 
7. Joint Organization. Entrepreneurs are the people who communicates with other businesses. Aside form the fact that they have secretaries, they are still the ones who attend meetings with known business partners. 
8. Identifying entrepreneurial opportunities. Entrepreneurs are opportunity seekers. These people are usually the first who can notice an opportunity out of nothing. A common man may not notice that there is an entrepreneurial opportunities lying anywhere, but entrepreneurs notice them quickly. You will be surprised that they already established a business before you could conceive the idea of putting that business. 
9. Turning ideas into actions. After gathering many ideas in their surroundings, entrepreneurs do not leave them as ideas. They turn them into actions and they make their ideas concrete. 
10. Feasibility study. Entrepreneurs conducts a study of their ideas. They wanted to know if putting up a business in a certain place is profitable or innovating a product is click to the market. They research everything and they make business plans and project proposals. 
11. Resourcing. Entrepreneurs are very resourceful. They can start a business even if they do not have money on their hands. They are in charge of resourcing. They have contacts.
12. Setting up an enterprise. Entrepreneurs goal is to have an enterprise, that is why they are in charge of setting it up. They want to have their own established companies.
13. Managing an enterprise. After having an enterprise, of course it is the duty of the entrepreneurs to manage it. They run their own businesses, people, money and products.
14. Growth and Development. Aside from managing an enterprise, entrepreneurs have the duties to make their businesses develop and grow. They continue to explore things that will make their businesses up to date. They do not stop achieving even though they already achieve their desired goal. They want to achieve excellency.
Entrepreneurs are very important in any company. They play a vital role in the growth and development of a business. They have many functions that make them as the highest position in an empire.
